This gorgeous piece has been 'recreated' from vintage silver-plated flatware by Holmes & Edwards Silver-plate that dates back to 1937, and features the 'Lovely Lady' pattern. Lovely Lady was introduced in 1937 by Holmes & Edwards and was discontinued in 1959. This pre-war pattern flows from flowers at the top to the pierced handle making an interesting and still popular look. You are sure to get compliments with this piece.

Holmes & Edwards was organized in Bridgeport CT in 1882 and taken over by International Silver in 1898. That part of Connecticut and Southern New England housed some of the best manufacturers and artisans of silver in the country in the early twentieth century.
